Yinchuan City, Ningxia: Looking for Teachers to Start in September 2016

Max Education is Yinchuan's only all foreign teacher English training school. As a teacher at Max Education your classes will be small, up to nine students, and they will be yours. You will be the only teacher and how you teach is up to you (as long as it is safe, effective and fun). We are currently looking for two teachers to start in September.

Position One:
Lego Teacher
Salary: 8,000RMB/monthr
Working hours: Up to 25/week
Visa: Z-visa
Housing: 1,500RMB/month stipend
Days-off: 2 days off per week
Vacation: The month August and the month around Chinese New Year (UNPAID VACATION)
Bonus: 6,000RMB on completion of contract

Requirements:

-Good with kids
-Must love Legos!

Work Description:
Lead students in building various creations out of Legos. Classes are separated by age.

*4 year-old: students will learn the basics of building with legos by building cars, trains, windmills etc
*5 year-old: simple mechanics: gears and pulleys. Build eggbeaters, cranes and catapults among others.
6 year-old: story class. Use legos to act out a story.
7 year-old: Use motors and Technic Legos to build cars, helicopters and other moving things.
8+ year-old: Robotics. Teach students how to build and program robots using Lego Mindstorm robotics.

There will be training in August in Beijing. Hotel and training fees will be paid by us, but no salary during the training.

Position Two:
English Teacher:
Salary: 12,000 RMB/month
Working hours: up to 25 hours/week
Housing: 1,500RMB/month stipend
Visa: Z-visa
Days-off: 2 days off per week
Vacation: The month of August and the month around Chinese New Year (UNPAID VACATION)
Bonus: 8,000RMB on completion of one year contract

Work description:
Teach and play with a class of four 2-3 year-olds during the day. There will be a Chinese helper.

Teach English class to 4-8 year-olds in the evening and week-ends. Classes have a maximum of 9 students and are 50-90 minutes long.
