Yonsei University, English Camp (residential)
Yonsei University was established in 1885 and has been developing English education system to raise elites who will become global leaders in the future. Yonsei University FLI (Foreign Language Institute) is a prestigious language institute with a great reputation for maintaining high quality language programs not only for students but also for businesspersons. With 40 years of experience, FLI is well renowned for its systematical curriculum and teaching techniques with highly achieved faculty members.
Yonsei University Foreign Language Institute is coordinating a 2012 Summer English Camp. FLI (Foreign Language Institute) will provide high-quality English Camp to intermediate level to advanced level students. The camp will not only provide intense studies but also gives chances for them to learn how to become a Global Leader. We would like to welcome teachers who are willing to participate in this program.
* Program period
Camp Date Training Session
1. GIFT A Camp (2 weeks) August 6 - August 18, 2012 August 5, 2012
2. GIFT B Camp (3 weeks) July 30 - August 18, 2012 July 29, 2012
3. DJGA Camp (3 weeks) July 25 ¨C August 13, 2012 July 24, 2012

* Location
GIFT - Yonsei University, Songdo International Campus, Incheon, South Korea
* Program type
-Residential program: Teachers will be staying at the Yonsei University¡¯s newly-built dorm. All meals are provided.
-GIFT is for elementary school students (Songdo Campus)
* Working hours
- 9:00 am ¨C 8:30 pm
- Actual teaching hours will not exceed 40 hours per week.
- GIFT B and DJGA instructor will have a day off every Saturday or Sunday, and it will be determined by the Employer.
-GIFT A instructors will not have a day off for 2 weeks.
* Class Hours
-9:00 am - 6:30 pm (50 minutes per period, 10 minutes break in between)
-6:30 pm - 7:30 pm (Dinner time)
-7:30 pm - 8:30 pm (Daily review hour)
* Salary
1. GIFT A Camp (2 weeks) 1,900,000~2,100,000 KRW
2. GIFT B and DJGA Camp (3 weeks) 2,400,000~2,600,000 KRW
-1,000,000 KRW airfare support provided (for the teachers who reside outside of Korea
-Incentive Pay for 1~3 Best Teacher(s): performance-based incentive pay rewards
-It is mandatory to attend training session. If missing, 50,000 won will be deducted from the salary.
* Qualification
-Teachers with an official teaching credential
-Teachers with M.A. or higher degree in Language Art, Education, or other teaching related major
-Teachers who are currently or formerly employed in public or private elementary, junior high, or high schools in the U.S. are preferred.
-Teachers who are currently or formerly employed in Foreign Language high schools, high schools, middle schools and elementary in Korea.
