Teach English in Colombia

The first thing that comes to mind when talking about Columbia is of course it's widely publized drug trade, drug cartels and civil war. However sticking to the major cities (Bogota, Cali, and Medellin) you can avoid most of this. Larger cities are reasonably well policed and should be safe enough provided you are careful.

Native English speaker are in strong demand, with demand well exceeding supply, for this reason wages for English teachers in Columbia are quite high. While certification and experience are definetely looked favourably on, these are not always necessary.
