Hi there, my name is Sebastian McLean and I´m a teacher for Daqiao Foreign Language School which has been operating since 1992. We presently manage more than 30 schools in the central business area, with other schools spread though-out Jilin Province. Our school specializes in Primary，Middle, and High school English Education, with two thousand full‐time teaching staff delivering programs at all levels.

Salary Range: 8000RMB to 10000RMB p/m full‐time

Total Remuneration
Package:
8000RMB to10000RMB.The total remuneration package includes salary, rent subsidy, transportation costs.
Employment Type: One year full-time contract
Supervisor (Title): English instructor


Key Purpose:
To contribute to the delivery of programs in English as a second language (ESL) at the Primary, Middle and High school levels and do some research about the new texts. This will involve the co‐ordination and delivery of topics in a variety of modes and locations.

Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will work in close collaboration with other members of the staff in the school, and will be expected to:
• Contribute to the development, coordination and delivery of topics in the spoken English program.
• Contribute to the consolidation and expansion of the existing teaching methods
• Be involved in professional activity on behalf of Changchun Daqiao Foreign Language School

• Promote and provide a safe working environment for students
• Improve the students listening and speaking abilities, enlarge their vocabulary, and help them get a general idea of the cultures and customs of English-speaking countries.
• Help the Chinese English teachers to improve their abilities by training them.
• Participate in such activities with other English teachers as seminars on teaching methods, visiting other English teachers’ classes, etc.
• Take part in some students’ activities as the judge. Such activities include English Corners, English competitions, foreign English evenings and so on.
• Religious teaching is not permitted.

Essential criteria
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in any field
2. 1 year or above teaching experience
3. Native speaker would be appreciated
4. Demonstrated ability to teach topics in ESL at primary, middle, high school levels.
