Professionally minded full-time Teacher of English sought for rapidly expanding school in Lithuania. Maximum teaching load of 112 hrs/month. Most work is with adult learners (and some older teens 13-18) at ILS or in company. We can offer a varied mix of classes giving a broad timetable; 1:1, mini groups, larger groups (max 12), IELTS/Cambridge exam preparation, conversation classes, Business English and General English. Some of the work is off-site in local businesses.

Kaunas
We are expanding our activities in Kaunas, the second biggest city in Lithuania. 2 positions in Kaunas commence on August 27 (arrival date August 20). Shorter contracts may be negotiable. Positions in Kaunas would suit teachers with more experience and the work is exclusively in company. Regular training and support would take place in Vilnius or Kaunas.

CELTA or Trinity cert. grade A or B or equivalent, DELTA preferred. At least one year's experience of teaching adults, though will consider newly qualified teachers with the right background. Experience teaching Business English, ESP, IELTS, and FCE courses also preferred.

For 9-10 month contracts in Vilnius. Competitive local salary of minimum 1560 Lt net + local city travel pass. International travel allowance of 700 Lt. The school provides accommodation in single flats (or with other teacher upon request). Local healthcare cover. Free Business English Teacher Training Course for an internationally recognised qualification (LCCIFTBE) for all staff members and the opportunity to instruct on Teacher Training courses. Maximum 112 (45-minute) academic hours of teaching per month (after which overtime is paid if the teacher wishes to take on more hours).

Positions in Vilnius are for an September start through to the end of May 2007 (with the possibility to extend the contract through summer).

Positions in Kaunas: contract length is negotiable. Conditions are similar to Vilnius.
