Teach for Palestine is looking for new recruits! We are searching for enthusiastic English teaching volunteers to join us for our Spring 2014 term beginning in early February.
TFP works with some of the most at-risk youth in the West Bank, offering them an opportunity to improve their life chances through education. As well as teaching English we instruct our students in critical thinking, sports and other educational projects.
The Spring 2014 semester will bring many exciting changes to our program. The most important being a move to classes of girls. We are completely re-vamping the organization to provide the best opportunities to the most students. If you would like to be a part of an organization that is expanding in an exciting way, than this opportunity is for you.
Teaching experience is preferable but not necessary. All teachers go through a training program and receive ongoing development workshops throughout the semester.
Each teacher is provided with shared accommodation (electricity, water, and internet are all paid for) and a small monthly transportation stipend.
