English Language TESL Instructor: Soran, Kurdistan Region

English language Instructor: Soran University in Kurdistan, north Iraq, is seeking two native English ESOL teachers for its language centre starting in either February or March 2014.

Based in Soran, a peaceful and secure city in the northern Kurdistan region, you will be working at the Centre for Language and Academic Development (CLAD) alongside a team of experienced native English speakers, teaching up to a maximum of 25 contact hours per week. You will offer either general English classes or IELTS preparation classes to motivated adults, at various levels.

Requirements: A minimum of a first degree, an internationally recognised TESOL qualification and at least two years teaching experience. Flexibility and adaptability a must! MA in TESOL and experience teaching IELTS are also highly desirable.

Package offered: One year renewable contract plus relocation allowance, free private self-contained accommodation, local medical cover, annual return flight.

Salary: From $2400 - $2800 per month (tax free), dependent upon qualifications and experience.
