EF Education First is currently looking for two amazing ESL teachers with test prep teaching experience to join our team this February. You’ll be teaching and inspiring our savvy young urbanites ages 13-17. Our centres are across the city, from downtown Xujiahui to urban Pudong. Launch your career with us and experience a dynamic way of working outside of the typical 9 to 5. You’ll be constantly meeting new people and welcomed to our supportive and amazing teacher community here in the city.

The Skinny:

• Conduct classes in our centres in Shanghai

• Plan, lead and teach lesson to our young learners, ages 13-17

• Apply test prep experience to help our students achieve their goals

• Use a variety of interactive media and courseware for strong student engagement


Teaching Responsibilities:

• Prepare, lead and conduct lessons that connect and engage students

• Creatively utilize and develop supplementary materials when necessary

• Assess student development and maintain class records

• Plan and execute projects and participate in events depending on the needs of each school


You have:

• At least two years of teaching experience, preferably with test preparation

• Great patience, energy and a sense of creativity in the classroom

• A natural communicator with exceptional ability to connect to young learners

• A desire to build strong leadership experience as a teacher

• Two years minimum working experience
