Teach English in Vietnam Jan 2014

Requirements:

•Applicants must be a native English speaker

•Possess a 3 or 4 year degree in any field, Education majors preferred

•Nationalities: American, Australian, British, Canadian, Irish, or New Zealander citizens only

•Must have a 100-hr TESOL or TEFL certification or a desire to obtain one

•In good health

•No criminal record

•Have at least two years of ESL teaching experience with young learners.

•Be between the ages 18-49 years old

Contract Length:

One year.

Locations:

Hanoi City (Capital of Vietnam)

Number of foreign teachers at school: 2

Students:

Elementary – 50 students per class

Salary/Benefits:

•Orientation upon arrival

•$1200 USD per month / $100 per hour overtime

•Full-time and part-time positions available

•Visa and work permit arranged and paid by employer

•10 days of vacation plus national holidays

•Medical insurance

Working Hours:

•Teaching hours per week: 18

•Class duration: 35 mintues

•Work days: Monday through Friday

Duties:

Curriculum is a computer-based learning program thereby teachers will be required to facilitate and guide students through each lesson. Although lesson plans are provided, teachers are encouraged to create your own in-class activities.
