Teacher Trainer and Educational Consultant Needed

Educational Consultants and Trainers provide a service to the Press’s sales and marketing divisions by visiting educational institutions, understanding their needs and requirements, offering sound educational programmes and giving product and methodological talks.

About the Role:

The highly successful English Language Teaching Division of Oxford University Press is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated teacher trainer and educational consultant to join our successful and driven international sales team. The position will be based in Istanbul and requires travel throughout Turkey.

Responsibilities of the roles will include:

• delivering a regular programme of visits at key institutions throughout Turkey

• building and maintaining relationships with institutions’ administrators and teachers

• providing product and programme advice and training to schools

• preparing and presenting blended and methodological talks at schools

About You

To be successful in this role you must:

• Have experience as an English language teacher

• Be experienced as a teacher trainer, having experience giving workshops and seminars to teachers and school leaders

• Have excellent organisational, project management and presentation skills

• Have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken

• Be able to work independently

• Have a high motivation to achieve results

• Be willing and able to travel locally, nationally and internationally

• Be a native English speaker

Desirable:

• DELTA and/or Master’s degree qualifications

• Native English speaker

• An intermediate level of spoken Turkish

• Knowledge of the Turkish educational system

• Previous ELT Publishing experience

• A valid driver’s license
