Brazil isn't a place for making money as ESL TEACHER. We are specifically located in small towns where we can't charge a lot for English lessons and consequently we can't pay a lot of money to our teachers. Most of the teachers come here for developing their career as ESL teachers than necessarily for making money. They also enjoy the cultural experience.

You will be expected to work around 30 hours a week or more if necessary which you will be paid extra for. What am I looking for in a teacher? Someone capable to teach all levels and ages including YOUNG LEARNERS, someone ENTHUSIASTIC, OUTGOING, MOTIVATED, POSITIVE OUTLOOK AND A SENSE OF HUMOUR, FLEXIBLE AND ADAPTABLE. A "formal" person will not fit in here.

Unfortunately we can't pay for your travel expenses. You are responsible for buying your ticket and travel insurance.

You will get your salary on a monthly basis in cash. You will be paid R$800.00 (Eight Hundred Brazilian Reais) a month for 30 hours a week (you will be paid for any extra hour worked above 30 hours) which is the average local salary for English Teachers.

The Contractor does NOT receive sick pay.
