Amity Corporation is a leading English conversation educator for children in Japan. Amity has provided international teaching opportunities for more than a decade at 80 branch schools throughout Japan.
Amity is seeking enthusiastic and motivated professionals who enjoy working with children. Qualifications include:
*Having a BA/BS degree (all majors considered) from an accredited university
*Being a native speaker of English (candidates must have completed all of their elementary and secondary education in English only)
*Having an outgoing and child-friendly personality
*Experience working with children (especially babies and pre-school aged children) considered an asset
*Sales/customer service experience considered an asset
*Teaching experience helpful but not a requirement
Candidates must also possess good communication skills, and be approachable and open-minded to cultural differences. Candidates must also be creative and have a willingness to learn Amity’s teaching methods in addition to improving their own teaching skills. Japanese language ability helpful but not necessary.
