Teach English in the Republic of Uzbekistan

Requirements:

•Applicants must be a native English speaker

•Possess a bachelor’s degree in any field, Education majors preferred

•Nationalities: American, Australian, British, Canadian, Irish, New Zealander, or South African citizens only

•Must have a teaching certificate or ESL certification or a desire to obtain

•In good health

•No criminal record

•Able to commit to a 6-8 month contract

•Be culturally well-rounded

•Have at least two years of ESL teaching experience with adult learners.

•Have lived and taught abroad for at least one year

•Trained or has a desire to be trained in IELTS ( a course will be provided to you free of charge)

•Be at least 26 years or older

Locations:

Tashkent (Capital city of Uzbekistan)

Students:

Ages 14-45 years old – 6 to 8 students per class

Salary/Benefits:

•Round-trip Air Ticket to and from Uzbekistan

•Orientation Upon Arrival in Tashkent City

•Transfer to and from airport upon arrival and departure

•Shared Housing and Living Accommodations with internet connection

•Monthly Stipend of 900,000 Uzbek (approx $430 USD)

•Short term contracts

Working Hours:

Three to four, 1 1/2 hour long classes per day, Monday through Saturday

Duties:

Teachers will be required to teach and prepare lesson plans for a preparation study program for non-native speakers (both IELTS/TOEFL and General English).
