TEFL teaching

Lanka TEFL Training Institute is a brand new friendly small training school located in a suburb of Colombo, Sri Lanka. We will open our doors the beginning of August for the first classes. The school is under foreign and local management. We will offer the following courses:

* TEFL Certificates for foreign- and local students (In cooperation with a leading TEFL school in the UK)

* Intensive IELTS Training for Sri Lankan students who wish to study abroad (mainly in Australia, New Zealand and the UK)

* General English for kids, teenagers and adults (all levels)

* Business English

* Professional and Vocational English

We are looking for a young, dynamic and friendly teacher to join our small team to teach mainly the kids' classes to start the beginning/middle of August or beginning of September. No experience needed! As long as you are innovative, flexible and friendly with lots of energy, you are welcome to apply. No degree or TEFL needed. Training will be given on arrival. Excellent opportunity for a gap-year student!

What we offer you:
* A local junior teacher's salary of Rp. 25,000 per month (enough to travel, go out, etc. NOT enough to save though)
* Free accommodation in a host family and 3, free meals a day (local food only)
* Maximum of 30 teaching hours per week (it might be less, depending on how many students register)
* Two days off per week (Sundays and Mondays)
* Airport pick-up
* A legal contract
* Flexible stay (minimum 2 months, maximum 12 months)
* Valuable ESL teaching experience if you want to continue teaching in other countries

Sri Lanka is one of the most beautiful countries in South East Asia with stunning beaches, ancient cities, exotic food, friendly people and abundant wildlife. Great place to surf, for people who are interested in that.
