DO you have passion and a desire to help our students learn English? DO you want to feel that you did something worthwhile in Korea? Are you ready to start AS SOON AS POSSIBLE If you are saying that sounds like me, then we should talk as soon as possible. We are Uncle Lion English Academy in JEONJU CITY. This is our eleventh year of teaching English as a language. We teach elementary students.The students are between eight and fourteen years of age. Our classes have between six and ten students. We teach six classes a day, five days a week. There are no split shifts and no weekend teaching. We believe in teaching basics. There is no point in finishing a book if the students don't know how to use the words in the book. Does this sound like the job for you? Good. But TEACHING, REALLY TEACHING is not easy, and teaching is not for everyone. It requires passion, commitment and a true desire to help the students learn English as a language. If you are looking for a year long party, or an easy way to make money, this is NOT the job for you. HOWEVER, if you are willing to be trained, willing to work hard,and have the passion, desire and commitment then this may be the position that you are looking for. We pay 2.1 million won. We pay the return airfare from where you are to Korea. We provide a rent free NON SMOKING apartmen. We observe all national holidays. We pay half the medical insurance, and upon completion of the contract we pay one months severence. We even provide all the tea you can drink at work! To apply for this position you MUST HAVE the following: AN APOSTILED DEGREE from an ENGLISH SPEAKING country. THIS IS MANDATORY. TESOL certificates are not degrees, AN APOSTILED CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK that is no older than six months THIS IS MANDATORY AND MUST BE A NATIONAL CHECK from your country. A valid passport. A CURRENT photograph. Not taken on the beach. A CLEAN bill of health. Able to start in AS soon as POSSIBLE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PASSPORT AND DEGREE FROM AN ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRY WE CANNOT HIRE YOU.
