Year One primary school teacher
The Tashkent Ulugbek International School is seeking a Year One primary school teacher who has a formal (university awarded) teaching qualification obtained from a country which has English as it's first language.
Ideally we're interested in employing a teacher who has previous experience of working with children that have come from a variety of international backgrounds.
Our school teaches entirely through the medium of the English language apart from lessons in the Uzbek and Russian languages which are taught by local teachers. Lower school classes have an assigned, full time, tri lingual teaching assistant to aid each individual teacher.
Our curriculum is based on the UK National Curriculum (2010) with some modifications to meet the demands of the Uzbekistan Ministry of Public Education.
We offer a good package which includes salary, annual return flight ticket between Tashkent and the capital city of your home country plus a near school apartment and health provision. Posts will be available to start on or about 26th of August 2013.
