Native English Speaking Teachers Required

Chiba Language School, a small well-known private school in Ping Tung City, has been around for more than 20 years. Since then we have years of experiences working with foreigners who is willing to start their teaching career in Taiwan. In addition, we offer free accommodations and more to help new foreign teachers to settle into a new surrounding as well as benefit from the teaching experience. TELF certificate or any other is not needed because what we look for is individuals who not only meet our Qualifying Criteria, but has a passionate to learn from experience. Once new foreign teacher arrives at Chiba, we handle all the process in order to obtain the legal working status; therefore, he/she can focus more on settling in and working in Chiba.

At Chiba, curricula and materials are provided with Taiwanese co-teachers assistance in the classroom. Foreign teachers are to combine any teaching materials that can be found in the school to coincide with the curricula. That’s where the creativeness comes to work.

Knowing Mandarin Chinese is not a necessity, you can get by with English; especially in southern-Taiwan where people are generous and kind. Chinese lessons are also available should you wish to study Chinese during your stay you have the choice of studying at our national university or from the Taiwanese co-teachers at Chiba.

Spending time overseas is an enriching experience especially when you are teaching. We are sure this experience will make you a stronger, wiser, and diverse person.
