The British Institute Bogor is looking for one teacher to join its team in April.
Teachers are paid Rp 8,100,000 per month with a $200US bonus after completion of 3 month probation with a further $800US after completion of the contract. Any teaching hours over the 20 hours contracted are compensated with overtime. Teachers will also be covered by medical insurance and will be given help with settling into Indonesian life.

Bogor itself is a small city with a lot of character situated near a few beautiful mountains and volcanoes. The capital city of Jakarta is only 1 hour away and our nearest beach can be easily reached for weekend breaks.
TBI Bogor is a large afternoon and evening English school mainly catering for children and young adults although the school does have some older students.
Teachers are required to teach 20 hours a week Monday to Friday from the hours of 2.30pm until 9pm at the latest. 20 days personal holiday are allocated each contract and a further 20+ days are issued for national holidays (5 for Idul Fitri, 5 for Christmas and many Indonesian national holidays ?14 in 2007).
The teacher should be prepared to teach the following:
Children
Teenagers
Adults
Business English
Conversation
TOEFL iBT Preparation
IELTS Preparation
You should hold a CELTA certificate or equivalent although teachers with experience will also be considered. You must hold a passport from an English speaking country. A degree is not necessary.
