Position: English teacher

Start date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday to Friday 1pm " 6pm (3 hours of teaching)

except Tuesday which is 3:00pm - 6:00pm (2 hours of teaching)





The Job

We are now recruiting energetic passionate English language teachers. Our high academic standards and enjoyable learning environment have established us as one of the best language schools in Taipei. Every day of the week we arrange for our students to attend special group classes such as music, creative arts, roller-blading, speech class, soccer, Japanese martial arts, and more. We encourage our students to participate in all the classes for a well-rounded education.



We offer courses to students aged 3 to 12 years and there are no more than 10 students per class. We are constantly developing and refining our curriculum, to tailor it to the specific needs of Chinese learners. At Giraffe English, we believe that language can be taught more effectively if the learning is contextualized. Our comprehensive course material includes detailed teachers books with lesson plans and guidance, flashcards, posters, CDs, digital material and other props. Our young learners go on regular field trips, and the older students go on frequent field trips during winter and summer camps. Parks, museums, and other local attractions are popular field trip destinations.





Compensation

• Salary: 30,000 " 35,000 NT per month (14 hours of teaching per week)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• TEFL certificate

• Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa

• Experience teaching young learners preferred

• Plenty of passion and energy
