We are welcoming volunteer Native English teachers to join our team for the summer as camp counselors. Our aim at the camp is to provide a valuable, memorable and above all fun experience for the Ukrainian children. Our summer camp is one of the greenest resorts in the seaside town of Alushta. Camp buildings are smothered in cedars, magnolias, palms, and cypress. The camp is surrounded by mountains that creates a certain climate - the combination of forest, mountain and sea air.

Job description:

Each counselor together with a Ukrainian counselor will be responsible for their own class (10-15 children, 2 counselors for the class). You will be required to teach English Russian-speaking children aged 8-17 y.o. (2 lessons a day) and to incorporate games, songs, arts and crafts, team competition, sports and theatre into helping them learn English.

Period of work is at your desire from 21 days till 84 days (June,2 –August 30, 2013)

1 session : 02.06.13-22.06.13

2 session : 25.06.13-15.07.13

3 session : 18.07.13-07.08.13

4 session : 10.08.13-30.08.13

To qualify as a camp counselor you need to be a native English speaker and have previous teaching experience( TEFL / TESOL) and experience working with children. A part from this you will need also have a genuine interest with working with children.

We are looking for reliable, flexible, enthusiastic tutors with excellent organization skills who are able to lead activities both inside and outside of the classroom.

Volunteer English teachers receive the following benefits:
