Windsor English Language School is looking for native speaker Director of Studies in Moscow, Russia

Full visa support during the contract.

Good quality accommodation (not shared) close to a metro station.

Most of our students are adults.

New headquarters and central school are within a fifteen minute walk from the Kremlin.

Windsor English Language School is looking for native speaker Director of Studies in Moscow starting in March 2013:

We are looking for a Director of Studies with excellent communication and leadership skills. The candidate should be proficient in time management, initiative and enthusiastic.

Job responsibilities:

1.Teachers support and development

•Provide consultations to teachers

•Give individual support to new teachers during the probation period

•Assist teachers with their lesson plans

•Observe teachers’ lessons and give feedback

•Conduct teacher trainings and seminars

•Run the teacher development programme

•Maintain high teaching standards

2.Participate in the recruitment of new teachers

•Evaluate candidates application forms

•Conduct interviews

3.Facilitate communication between management and teaching staff

•Manage orientation and observation programmes

•Ensure teachers are kept up to date with school latest news and procedures

•Ensure that resources are kept up to date. Propose and support system for arranging resources

•Propose ideas regarding improvement of the company’s systems and structures, new products and services the company can offer

•Be aware of the latest changes in ELT and communicate them to management

•Assist the management of the company in making changes

•Collect feedback about implementing changes, ideas and insights from teachers and pass it to the management

•Deal with complaints

•Improve the assessment procedures currently in place

•Occasionally participate in the company’s business meetings, when the advice from academic side is needed

•Occasionally participate in company’s promotions or PR campaigns

4. Professional development

•Participate in ELT conferences, seminars, webinars

Qualifications:

- Candidates be natives from the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand;

- Hold a DELTA or MA in TEFL;

- 5 years and more teaching experience;

- Previous academic management experience – preferred.

Compensation:

- 12 month contract;

- Monthly salary is to be negotiated;

- Good quality, furnished single accommodation; although an accommodation allowance can be negotiated instead.

Please take into consideration that the salary on its own is only a part of the remuneration package. The school provides the following free of charge:

1. Good quality accommodation (not shared) close to a metro station. There is a free repair and replacement service. All utility bills are paid for except for telephone bills. Although an accommodation allowance can be negotiated instead.

2. Full visa support during the contract.

3. A free medical card is provided for insurance purposes throughout the teacher’s employment.

4. Unlimited metro travel card (which covers all expenses within Moscow and its suburbs). All branches are situated on, or near metro line.

5. Reasonable flight allowance.

6. Paid induction period.

7. Meeting at the airport on arrival.

8. Free Russian lessons for all levels given by a professional teacher.

9. Free Internet access in the school; free coffee and tea.

10. Bonus.
