TsinghuaExperimentalSchoolin Shenzhen is now holding interviews for English teachers. TsinghuaExperimentalSchoolin Shenzhen was established in 2002. Tsinghua is a beautiful campus located at the heart of the community of Tao Yuan Ju, which is in the Bao’An District of Shenzhen, a major city on the south east coast of China, near Hong Kong.

It is the onlyElementaryEducationSchoolestablished byTsinghuaUniversityoutside of the capital city ofBeijinginChina. Tsinghua accepts both residential and non-residential students providing education from primary to senior high school graduation. Now with a population of 7000 students and 700 teachers, Tsinghua is one of the largest privately-run schools in all of Shenzhen.

Our school is modern with up to date teaching materials and equipment including projectors and computers. Various student interactions are encouraged in class such as group work, pair work, role plays, project work as well as more traditional teaching methods to add variety to the classes and help create a fun and relaxed learning environment.

Teaching Materials
Teaching materials and resources are provided by the school and are targeted to the abilities of the students. Materials follow the Chinese national school curriculum and focus on developing all four skills – speaking, listening, reading and writing. Teachers are encouraged to adapt and supplement the materials where need be to ensure classes are engaging and interesting.

Shenzhen – The city

Shenzhen is located in the southern portion of the Guangdong Province, on the eastern shore of the Pearl River Delta. Neighboring the Pearl River Delta andHong Kong(located just south of Shenzhen), Shenzhen's location gives it a geographical advantage for economic development. In 1980, the first Special Economic Zone of China was built in Shenzhen. From then on, Shenzhen become a highlighted city of China, one known for its rapid economic growth.

Because Shenzhen is a migrant city, all of China's regional cuisines are represented here. Restaurants range from hole-in-the-wall establishments for homesick working class arrivals to opulent food palaces for businessmen and politicians entertaining clients. Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree

· TEFL certificate

· At least 2 years of teaching experience

· Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa

· Professional, culturally aware, positive work ethic

Main Responsibilities

· Maximum 20 hours teaching per week

· Total maximum of 40 hours work per week

· Use prescribed course books and develop supplementary materials as needed/directed

· Classes from Monday to Friday daytime with Saturday and Sunday as days off

· Provide high quality professional teaching at all times

· Provide advice and assistance to student, in and out of classroom

· Deliver learner-centered, engaging lessons to all students

· Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner

· Actively participate in professional development workshops and activities

· Attend school activities, parties and other events

· Open-minded and easy-going with a great team spirit

Compensation

· Excellent salary: 8,000 – 10,000 RMB per month (depending on qualifications and experience)

· Flight allowance: 1,000 USD (roughly 6,200 RMB) paid at end of 12 month contract

· Free housing provided by the school and utilities paid for

· 90 days paid school holiday / year (2 months in summer and 1 month in winter all paid)

· Plus 12 days paid Chinese National Holidays

· Accident insurance provided

· Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided

· 400 RMB monthly food allowance
