Teach Away in Saudi Arabia! Teach Away is hiring university level ESL instructors for positions within an all-female university in Riyadh. Instructors will teach English to post-secondary students as part of a Preparatory Years Program. Teachers will also assist with curriculum development and student mentorship to improve students' English proficiency. Applicants should be highly adaptable and culturally aware. Experience working in the Middle East is an asset, though not required. Candidates with experience creating curriculum, refining assessment methods, and providing support and guidance to language learners are preferred.
JOB DETAILS
Job Location: Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Start Date: January 2013
Subjects: ESL
Monthly Salary: $2,700-4,000 USD tax-free, depending on qualifications and experience
Contract Duration: 1 year (renewable)
Housing: Provided
Health Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance provided by employer - Roundtrip airfare provided; annual flights home for extended contracts
Vacation: 60 days of paid vacation; national holidays
TEACHING JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Level of Education: Bachelors
Teaching Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of ESL teaching experience at university level
Teacher Category: TEFL Instructor
Certifications Required: TESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours
Bonus: Transportation allowances and planned local outings
