Teaching English to English-Language Learners

For the 2013-2014 academic year, the Terakki Foundation Schools in Istanbul are accepting applications from licensed primary, middle, and secondary school teachers who are native speakers of English. Candidates must be qualified to teach school children in their own state/country and have at least three years of relevant experience. Preferred candidates will have either the DELTA or an appropriate MA. We seek creative team players who can contribute to the continuous development of the English-language programs. About the Foundation: The Terakki (“progress” in Turkish) School was founded in 1877 in Salonika, then a major cultural and commercial center of the Ottoman Empire. The school has a well-established tradition of excellence in education and is now located on a large campus in the center of Istanbul.
