We need committed teachers
We need committed teachers to replace a teacher in Hai Phong until the end of April 2013.
Between 2010 – 2012 Shelton DG has grown by more than 300% in terms of the number of students, teachers and clients. We aim to provide a concise and clear contract that ensures that our teachers receive a minimum of 60 hours teaching per month and a full work permit that correlates with all of the national and legal expectations as defined by MOET. In addition we operate a general policy of full disclosure with all staff and pay between $18-25 per hour dependent upon the applicants’ level of experience and qualifications. We also aim to provide as compact and sensible of timetables as possible.
Details of the position:
- Target students: grades 10 and 11 students in mainly government schools
- Hours: 20 hours/week
- Teaching time: day time from 7am til 5pm
We also provide a series of course specific textbooks that are designed to ensure that teachers and students have a clear path to follow and that the Teacher understands the expectations of both their employers and our clients.
We do not provide sick pay, holiday pay, and we must be clear in stating that life in North Vietnamese schools can be hectic, hot and challenging and our Teachers must have the ability to cope in limited social circumstances.
Successful candidates will be provided with a soft-copy of our contract and Staff handbook upon successful of their interview.
Potential candidates should note that the old days of corrupt schools, lazy ESL teachers and a holiday-attitude are in decline and that we expect all of our teachers to maintain a higher standard of behaviour and performance than is the norm for this industry.
