Non-tenured position to begin March 1, 2013
The EFL Teacher Training Program of the School of English at Universidad Católica del Norte, Chile, invites applications for a non-tenured position to begin March 1, 2013. Depending on performance, tenure may be awarded after two years. This is a teaching position which allows for research and curriculum development activities. The successful candidate will teach language courses (from beginning to advanced) and must also be able and willing to teach one or more ancillary courses which may be in general linguistics, morpho -syntaxis, or contrast ive grammar.
This position requires a Ph.D. in applied linguistics, TESOL, second language acquisition, or closely related field. Applicant< /span> should possess native or near-native-level fluency in English and at least intermediate proficiency in Spanish.
