HOD English cum High School English Teacher

We are an international school in Indonesia adopting the Montesorri and Cambridge curriculums. Our students range from the levels of Kindergarten to High School. The school is in the midst of expansion and we are looking for highly motivated individuals to boost the teaching force.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the English Language Department

Plan effective strategies and programs in alignment with the school’s priorities

To conduct English classes for students at High School levels

Understanding of the characteristics of high quality teaching and effective learning

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and achieve work targets

Ability to process and manage administrative documentation

Staying abreast of developments in education

Requirements

A Diploma/Degree in any discipline from a reputable reputable polytechnic/university (a teaching certificate is not necessary but would be an advantage)

At least 1 year of English teaching experience

Excellent command of English (Only Singaporeans or native speakers from UK, USA, Canada, Australia and NZ)

Prior management experience is not a must as long as candidate is willing to learn

Passion in teaching and providing fun actitivies for students

Flexibility in adapting to a new environment and culture

Able to work hard but also relax and have fun during the weekends

SALARY & BENEFITS:

Location: Based in Indonesia

Salary: USD 1500-2000/mth with additional utilities allowance

End of contract 2 months bonus

Paid holidays: Up to 75 days
