This is the only multilingual nursery, pre-school and elementary school in Poland teaching independent international standards-based curriculum via total immersion method in Polish, English, Spanish and Chinese. The school was founded in 2009 as a very innovative concept of a nursery and has developed into a three degree educational institution (nursery, pre-school and elementary school). The school’s comprehensive curriculum emphasizes multilingual skills, cross-cultural exchanges and stimulates social development along with self confidence. The school’s international teachers and care-givers provide differentiated instruction to 150 students according to their individual needs, abilities and potential.

The school is looking for the perfect nursery teacher with some marketing experience to develop and fulfill the objectives of an international independent educational institution. A perfect candidate would have the following teaching and marketing responsibilities:

Responsibilities related to teaching (20 weekly hours)

-working as a teacher with one of the school groups (aged 1-3)
-preparing a monthly curriculum and evaluations
-assuring the communication with the parents of your group
-collaborating with teachers of the group in Polish and Spanish or Chinese (as per school policy)
-participate in weekly meetings with the trilingual teachers’ team

Responsibilities related to marketing (20 weekly hours)

-actively recruit nursery and pre-school children within the international community (the aim is to diversify the nationalities of the children attending the youngest groups 1-3)

-participate and present the schools’ to new prospective Parents

-create, maintain and promote a professional and positive image of the nursery and pre-school in the international community

-act as an advocate for the school

Candidate profile:

We are looking for a candidate who is an English native speaker and possesses the following personal and professional qualities.

Personal qualities:

-dynamic, enthusiastic and creative

-having effective communication skills and being a good “team player”

-considers challenges as a rewarding experience

-ready to relocate to Poland beginning from second half of 2014 for the next consecutive three years

professional qualities and experience:

-caring and approachable towards students, staff and community members

-commited educator with well-structured approach to our teaching values and clear set of educational goals

-having strong beliefs in multilingual and multicultural values

-viewing multilingual and multicultural education not merely as a profession but as a vocation

-having at least two years experience working in a similar position in a school environment;

-enjoy working in environment of international teachers

-having experience working in a preferably multilingual, multicultural/international school with private funding

education
-holding a degree in Early Childhood Education or a degree in education and having at least two years of experience working as a lead teacher, manager or deputy manager in a day-care, pre-school or nursery

The school offers:

An initial renewable three years contract with competitive compensation and benefits package which is commensurate with experience and the responsibilities of the position.
