ILSS is a young school -- this is our fifth year. There are 4 teachers who all have more than 10 years teaching experience and two others who have 3 - 4 years teaching under their belt.
We are situated in Bari in the south east of Italy. It is a beautiful region of Italy which has many attractions and good nightlife with the added bonus that the cost of living is a lot lower than in the UK and the north of Italy. In addition the climate is great with sun most of the year.
We will help the new teacher find accommodation and are willing to pay for her initial travel cost from the UK and put her up in a hotel for the first few days while looking for accommodation (with every assistance given).
The role would suit a young, dynamic, professional, energetic and enthusiastic mother tongue teacher with at least 1 year's teaching experience with ages 3 years old and upwards. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high quality lessons to young children, teenagers and adults at any linguistic level. Excellent knowledge of the Trinity and Cambridge University exams is essential.
Working days are from Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday morning classes (20-25 teaching hours per week). The contract is from 1st October 2012 to 31st May 2013.
Requirements:
BA Degree
UK National Insurance number and residence
At least 1 years experience teaching all ages
CELTA or equivalent
Native English speaker
Experience teaching Trinity and Cambridge University exams
Creative and enthusiastic
Available to start October 1st
Compensation:
1000 Euros per month after tax
