Seeking qualified English teachers

Shelton College International is currently seeking qualified English teachers to start teaching in Jan 2013. We have the following vacancies:

1. High school English teacher

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high quality teaching Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and General Paper

• Facilitate student centred activities and build relationships with international students

• Set & moderate assessment papers and mark answer scripts.

• Attend to supplementary duties as may be assigned by superiors

Requirements:

• Patient and passionate about teaching and strong in subject contents.

• Familiar with syllabus

• Preferably with at least 1 year of teaching experience to foreign students

• With ability to relate with students of varied international backgrounds

• A team player with a positive disposition in a dynamic international community

• With a very good command of written and spoken English

2. College English lecturer

Responibilites

• To teach General English

• To prepare teaching material and assessment papers

• To facilitate student centered activities and build relationships with international students

• Attend to supplementary duties as may be assigned by superiors

Requirements:

• With at least a Degree in English Language or related discipline. Additional recognized TESOL / CELTA / Dip. Ed. qualifications are an advantage

• At least 5 years of teaching and/or working experience in the related field

• With teaching and classroom management experience

• With ability to relate with students of varied international backgrounds

• A team player with a positive disposition in a dynamic international community
