We are looking to recruit for the following roles starting September 2012 in British International School in Kurdistan:

One Head of School

We are looking for a senior teacher to manage to the school on a day to basis. Must be a qualified teacher with at least 5 years experience and at least 2 years in senior management in a previous schools (preferably an International School).

Required: PGCE, BA, MA in Education, 5 year teaching experience

Native born English speaker from UK

Salary 3000 USD Cash, upper class housing (about $4500 including all other bills), free flights.

Three Teachers

Science Teacher (1 or 2 year teaching experience)

Native speakers from US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa...etc.

All majors with TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA

Salary varies from $1400-$2000 (USD) cash, upper class housing (about $4500 including all other bills), free flights.

Three Secondary school teacher (KS3 ALL subjects) -

Must have a degree in the subject area for which you are applying for a teaching job, ideally you will be a qualified and experience teacher and you must be a native English speaker. We are looking for teachers who have the ability to teach more than one subject e.g. Maths and ICT or ICT and Music or indeed any combination of subjects.

All teachers will be expected to participate in school clubs either at break/lunch times or after school.

Please ensure that you provide a personal statement of AT LEAST 500 words detailing what you can bring to the role and how you can help the children to succeed.

Option 2: Teaching ESL in Nizwa, Oman

College teaching levels

Requirements:

Native speaker of English from US, UK, CA, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa...etc

2 year college teaching experience

Degree in Applied Linguistics, English, Education with TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate

Free housing, airfare, medical for candidate with family of four.

Salary: 1100 OR per month.
