Teach a Great Curriculum to Young Learners in Shenzhen

Teach at a prestigious US preschool that has opened its doors in Shenzhen, China! The school seeks lead teachers for its growing preschool network in China. The school is the premier provider of Early Education (nursery school, preschool, private kindergarten) and child leadership development.

Lead teachers deliver a customized English-language curriculum through a series of enrichment classes focused on six learning areas using a recognized and accredited American curriculum. All schools will require 7-8 lead teachers at capacity. Working with a Chinese assistant teacher, lead teachers will deliver 60- to 75-minute enrichment classes five days per week with up to 10 children in each class.

The school is currently based in Shenzhen, but due to its success it shall soon be opening schools in other areas of China too. Shenzhen city is in the province of Guangdong. The city is one of the richest and most populous in China with a population of 14 million. Shenzhen is a popular destination for tourists who were originally attracted by its famous theme parks.

The city is famous for its architecture, shopping, bars, restaurants and active art scene. The city’s beaches have become famous throughout China and its Dapeng Peninsula was nominated by the China National Geographic Magazine as one of the most beautiful coastlines in the country.

Essential Requirements

• Native English speaker

• North American teachers only

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) accompanied by a TEFL/TESOL certificate

• Experience working with children

Remuneration Benefits

• $2000USD/month first year and $2500USD/month for 2nd year contract

• Performance based annual bonus

• $900USD flight stipend reimbursed in your first paycheck

• Z visa provided by the school

• Pick up from Hong Kong (or Shenzhen) Airport; transportation to Shenzhen

• Assistance with securing a local SIM chip and Chinese phone number

• Orientation to the Shenzhen Subway, city geography and highlights

• Lodging for 30 days plus housing assistance after that

• 18 days of paid annual leave and 12 days unpaid during your first year

• Full curriculum training provided as well as Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification training
