high pay teaching positions in Saudi Arabia

We need 20 teachers meeting the following requirements:

Instructors of English. Must hold a first degree in English Language, Education, or similar and minimum CELTA, preferably a DELTA or MA TEFL or equivalent. Minimum 5 years teaching experience.





•Bi-Lingual Instructors of English. Must hold a BA English, a CELTA, and an IELTS Band 7 or a TOEFL 650 score in hand. Minimum 5 years teaching experience.

THE WORK


EFL Instructors at the new college will work together in a team led by the Academic Training Manager and a Senior Instructor delivering a well-structured program of English Language, Technical Mathematics and Safety to an initial intake of 300 students placed within 15 learning groups.





AL KHAFJI


Al Khafji is located on the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia, 10 kilometres south of the Saudi-Kuwait border. It is about 130 kilometres south of Kuwait City and 300 kilometres north of Dammam and the causeway across to Bahrain. The town has a population of 65,000, and has schools, clinics, hospitals, and some supermarkets and shops. But it does not compare with a large modern Saudi City such as Dammam or Al Khobar and it is still very much a work in progress in terms of development and modernisation. The climate is typical of that of the eastern Saudi sea-board, namely arid, sometimes humid, but very pleasant in spring and late autumn and quite cool in winter. Summers are hot and dry.

Work experience should include profile of students taught, levels taught, materials used, core-texts used, familiarity with educational technology e.g. Smart-boards, web-based learning etc, and a statement as to the applicant’s IT proficiency.

Compensation

Salary packages will depend on individual instructor qualifications and relevant experience, particularly previous experience of teaching within a vocational setting, the region and the oil and gas sector.





Teachers will earn a very competitive salary 4000-5000 USD--with an increased allowance for being in Al Khafji.





All instructors will be entitled to free single status furnished accommodation in Al Khafji, with utilities and internet connection, and transport to and from work provided. Allowances may be payable in lieu of company provided accommodation if preferred.





There will be weekly company welfare transport provided from Al Khafji to Dammam and Bahrain each Wednesday afternoon returning Friday pm.





Air Ticket allowance will be paid as a monthly allowance but will allow for 2 two economy class fares home per annum.





Class A private medical insurance for employees will be provided.





Instructors will receive a basic 30 working days annual leave per annum, plus 10 working days of leave after each of the three trimesters per annum, plus 10 working days for each of the two Eid celebrations each year.
