Details:
EIU Language Center is a new language center in a prime location in Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province (approximately 50 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City in the south of Vietnam). We are looking for professional, committed and qualified EFL teachers to be part of our secure and growing language center. Our centre is offering General English, Business English and IELTS Preparation courses for adults.
Qualifications:
Ideally we are looking for people with a minimum of one year's teaching experience post CELTA, but we will consider exceptional candidates who have just finished their CELTA course.
Essential:
• Native/near-native competence in English
• Undergraduate degree
• CELTA
• Police clearance certificate issued within the last 3 months (i.e. less than 4 months old when the candidate arrives in Vietnam to commence work)
We would prefer candidates to have:
• Experience teaching adults
• Experience teaching IELTS and/or Business English (but not essential)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organisational skills
• Flexibility and cultural awareness
Applicants should:
• Be able to meet Vietnamese regulations to obtain a work permit (you must bring your original degree and teaching certificates with you, as well as a police clearance certificate).
Compensation:
• Salary is between US$1800 - US$2000 per month
• Bonus of US$1600 is offered upon successful completion of contract
• Entry visa, health check, work permit and issuing work visa paid by EIU Language Center
Other Benefits:
• Free accommodation in a comfortable hotel near the language center on arrival, followed by a monthly accommodation allowance of US$300 if teacher chooses not to stay in accommodation provided by the company.
• 25 days annual leave as well as national holidays
• Work in a professional and friendly environment with an excellent and dedicated team
• Comfortable air-conditioned classrooms with modern equipment
• Easy access to restaurants (Vietnamese & Western style) and shopping
