English Language Trainers (ELTs) for different cities in Malaysia

ULC International is a premier education training provider with a network of centres in Malaysia. We have been faithfully serving the needs of language learners in this country since the first centre started 20 years ago. We are also an authorized examination centre for University of Cambridge ESOL in Malaysia.

We are now hiring English Language Trainers (ELTs) to work within a cluster of Malaysian schools in a movement dedicated to improving the English proficiency of the in-service school teachers.

Responsibilities:
Each ELT will work with a group of Malaysian teachers for a period of 4 months. ELTs will be assigned to teach at one of the following states: Wilayah Persekutuan, Melaka, Pahang, Sabah, Kedah, or Kelantan. ELTs are responsible for helping to implement professional teacher development programs, with the goal of upgrading the local teachers' English proficiencies to advanced level.

Job Details:
- Monthly Salary: 8,000 MYR/month
- Contract Duration: 4 months
- Teaching hours: 30 hours per week

Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in TESL, DELTA, or equivalent.
- Have at least 7 years of experience teaching English or ESL to adults or young learners.
- Candidate must possess an English proficiency of C2 level based upon the Common European Framework.
- Candidate must be computer literate.
- Previous teaching experience in Southeast Asia is not a necessity but a definite plus.
