Introduction of Zhengzhou College of Science and Technology

The institute, founded in 1988, was approved by Henan’s government in 2001, and then initiated higher vocational education, later renamed Zhengzhou Vocational Institute of Science and Technology. In 2008 it was assessed and upgraded to college by the Ministry of Education, so renamed the Zhengzhou College of Science and Technology implementing the Bachelor degree. Therefore now it has become a common private teaching-oriented college and has formed the multidisciplinary coordinated development of the school structure which is mainly based on engineering and is supplemented by economics, management and humanities and so on.

With rich teaching resources and perfect infrastructure, the college now occupies a total area of 492,722 square meters and the building area is 365,512 square meters. There are 257,152 square meters serving for teaching, research and administration. Facilities here include audiovisual education center, experimental training center, multimedia center for science and education, as well as cultural sports center being built. There are teaching instruments and equipments worthy 80,710,000 RMB. In addition, there are 2,606 teaching computers. Modern teaching and research facilities can meet the needs of teaching on campus: 60 laboratories, 8 training workshop and 43 out-of-college practice base, 94 multimedia classroom (including 16294 seats) and 12 language labs (including 992 seats). With a total space of 280,000 square meters, the college library has a collection of 1,200,000 volumes.

The college is strong in the teachers’ qualities. There are 860 both full-time and part-time teachers all together. Among them, 30.4% got master’s degree and 30% of them got the senior or above title.

There are 13,208 students at College, with 13 teaching units: “seven departments, four sections, two institutes”. A strong academic atmosphere is formed, based on Mechanical Engineering Department, Electrical Engineering Department, Civil Engineering Department, Information Science and Engineering Department, Business Administration Department, Economic and Trade Department, Art Department, depending on Ideological and Political Department, Basic Courses Department, Public Art and Education Department, and sports Department, and considering School of Continuing Education and Institute of International Education as the development opportunities. There are 49 majors, 17 undergraduate programs, 29 specialist expertise and 3 Chinese-foreign cooperative professionals.

Party A: Zhengzhou Institute of Science and Technology

Party B: ____________

Party A will hire Party B, who is qualified to be an English teacher of International further education colleges of Zhengzhou Institute of Science and Technology. Two parties agree to sign this contract and pledge to perform and abide by the stipulation of this contract based on the friendly cooperation.

1. The total teaching period for each week is 20*45 minutes=15 hours. The main duties and responsibilities:

①Regular English teaching

②Conduct English extracurricular activities

③Spoken English training for faculty members of English department

Party B will be welcomed to participate in the English teaching and related academic activities, and provide after-class English counseling, which are not necessarily required and will not be included in the given teaching period.

2. Party b shall do their best to provide the best education to students, and help students to learn the language. To complete the assigned task of teaching work, and Party B will be invited to attend an English corner on weekly basis at the same time.

3.During the term of this agreement, Party A will provide free housing and will be equipped with, such as, Television, internet cable, refrigerator, washing machine, landlines (the expenses will be all on Party B), etc.). Party B should pay in time the water and electricity fees on monthly basis.

4. Party A will provide teaching materials, arrange class time and notify the schedule changes and other related matters for Party B.

5. Party B will be required to provide teaching according to the given teaching materials and the scheduled class time, and complete the teaching tasks on time.

6. Feedback on the teaching effect of Party B, and Party B should adjust the teaching method when necessary to adapt to the needs of students.

7. The Party B shall not interference with any other services without the permit of Party A.

8. Monthly pay wages on time before 15 (6000 RMB/Monthly).

9. This agreement is Chinese and English text in duplicate, both parties to keep a two text which have the equal legal effect.
