Certified English, Science, and Math Teachers Needed in Guatemala, Central Ameri
PRIVATE ACCREDITED SCHOOL IN GUATEMALA, CENTRAL AMERICA, IS RECRUITING CERTIFIED ENGLISH, SCIENCE, AND MATH TEACHERS.
Village School is looking for native speaking English, Mathematics, and Science teachers to start working August 2012 in Guatemala, Central America. We need teachers who can teach specific subjects such as English (Language ARts), Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus), and Science (Physics, and Chemistry), working full time in our school.
If you are passionate about this profession and you are travelling to teach, we will be interested to hear from you. Ideally, we are looking for people who are considering making Guatemala their home or genuine candidates who are planning to stay for a minimum of one academic year.
Qualifications / Information
Applicants must hold a bachelor degree in any field. The most important qualification is your teaching certificate. All applicants should have a TEFL qualification, CELTA or any other relevant ESL qualification. Please bring all original certificates with you.
We offer orientation and ongoing training to all our teachers. Part of your orientation training will be observing our teachers in our school. You may also be asked to teach a class prior to starting work. This class will be observed and reviewed.
Please note: We are not able to pay air fares, but we have positions available in which you will earn a competitive annual salary of $18,000, housing, transportation, life and medical insurance.
