Chatteris Native-speaking English Tutor (CNET)

The Foundation operates the Chatteris International Graduate Programme that allows university graduates from any discipline to contribute directly to the life and learning experience of Hong Kong students. As a CNET, you will be placed full time in a Chinese school to help improve the English language environment and motivate students to speak English. You will also have the opportunity to develop a lasting insight into the Hong Kong and Chinese culture and to form lifelong international friendships with the team of CNETs working alongside you.

Teaching in a Chinese school environment is a challenging and rewarding experience and will develop many life skills, such as confidence, flexibility, patience, cultural diversity and communication. In addition to professional experience working in schools, the Chatteris International Graduate Programme offers optional opportunities including Project Management, Career Development and Community Work. These provide graduates with transferable skills as well as personal and professional development suitable for any future career they may choose. Extensive support and training is provided throughout the year.
