JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION TITLE: EFL Teacher

SCHOOL TYPE: Public & Private School

WORK TYPE: Full-Time - one year , renewable contract

SCHOOL LOCATION: All Across Taiwan

STUDENT AGE/LEVEL:

7~12 (Elementary school level),

13~15 (Junior High School level)

SALARY& BENEFITS: ( in accordance with the school)

- Monthly salary: around NT$ 60,890 to NT$80,000/month

(commensurate to teacher's education & experience)

- Monthly housing subsidy : NT$ 5000 for single teacher;

NT$10,000 for a teacher with dependent/s

- Evaluation and Performance bonus – around one month salary

- Airfare reimbursement: for round trip

- Paid vacation: Chinese New Year (around 10 days)

- Summer & Winter vacation - in accordance with the school calendar

- Labor and health insurance - Available

- Work permit & alien resident visa (ARC) provided

TEACHING HOURS: ( in accordance with the school)

Monday to Friday; 8:00AM-4:00PM,

25 classes/week; 40 min/class;

Size of class: 25~38 kids.

CURRICULUM: (in accordance with school)

Scenario teaching, practical conversation, ESL/EFL (collaborating- teaching involved) or Subjects or flexible

TEACHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Native English speaker from the USA/ CA / UK / IRE / AUS / NZ / SA

- Officially certified K-12 teacher in home-country (teacher's license/teacher registration certificate) OR

- Taiwan Marriage ARC/Permanent ARC / JFRC visa holder

- valid SUBSTITUTE teaching permit/license accepted
