Teaching Positions Available
Our school is located in the city of San Cristobal, close to the capital. Many of our teachers carpool from the beautiful city of Antigua, Guatemala, which is about 40 minutes away. We provide an American Education with Christian values to children from 2 to 18 years old. Teachers' hours are from 7:00 to 3:30 for elementary, middle, and high school; pre-school teachers' hours are from 7:00 to 1:30. Teachers have an average of 1 planning period a day. Our curriculum is based on the California standards and benchmarks. Students use American textbooks and have access to a library and a computer lab with a variety of educational resources.
* Maximum 20 students per classroom (most classes have 16 students).
* Ability to speak Spanish is NOT required.
* The school's Director will provide ongoing training and support.
* Since all classes are ESL, experience with English Language Learners is helpful.

Qualifications
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree needed, Master's degree desirable.

* Experience living in a foreign country or the ability to adapt and be flexible to living in a developing country.
* Being of Christian faith or embracing Christian values is necessary because it is a daily part of our school.
