Qualified K-12 professionals in the Education Field needed in Guatemala
Location: Guatemala, in the city of Mixco which is a small town in the outskirts of Guatemala City.
Stipend provided: US$ 1,100-1,200.00 paid monthly in local currency; this varies according to experience and academic degrees.
The school also provides:
• airfare from the United States or Canada
• Furnished apartment including internet, cable T.V. and all other basic utilities
• Transportation to and from the school on school buses
• Cell phone
• Local bank account
School year: our school year begins in January and ends in November; however we have the following options (minimum one year contract):
• June 2012 to June 2013 we have positions in Elementary, Middle and High School. Please contact us immediately!
• January to November 2013 we are already receiving candidates for openings for one whole academic year, January to November 2013.
Working conditions: 25 to 30 hours per week teaching time, 10 hours a week for duties, planning and staff meetings.
Schedule: 7:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Optional: To be in charge of an activity afterschool for additional pay.
Required Academic Degree: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in related fields: Math, Science, English, Chemistry, Biology, Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education
