Reporting to the Program Manager, Academic English Language Programs, and the Coordinator assists the Manager in the delivery of English Language programs offered by RMIT Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.
On a day-to- day basis the Coordinator is responsible for supervising the delivery of programs, overseeing administration of assessment, and providing operational support for teachers and students. The position will initially be based at 21 Pham Ngoc Thach in District 3, however, the Coordinator may be required to work across both sites in HCMC.
Key responsibilities relate to ensuring full compliance with agreed assessment standards and the quality assurance requirements for programs offered at the Pham Ngoc Thach site. The post holder will need to liaise closely with the Coordinator – Assessment and Operations (based at Saigon South) to achieve these key responsibilities. The post holder will also participate in the recruitment process ands assist in the induction of new teaching staff.
To be successful you will hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline together with significant teaching or educational administrative experience. You will also hold an internationally recognised English Teaching Qualification. Experience gained in delivering high quality English Language programs in an Asian university environment would be highly regarded.
