Immediate Hire - Teaching Position in Brazil

Centro de Cultura Americana Ltda. Speaking is a language school located in ItajubᬠMinas Gerais state in Brazil. http://www.speaking.com.br
The school teaches English, Spanish, French, German and Chinese. Right now there are 6 foreign and 11 Brazilian teachers working with 350+ students.
The student's age range from 12 to 40. (most of them are university students)
The position available is to teach 36 hours (or more if you wish) per week from Monday to Saturday. Each class lasts one hour and has an average of 8 students.
The wage is R$15, 00 (fifteen Reais) per hour for teaching group class. (US$ 1 = R$ 1.81) . The teacher will be paid monthly on the 5th business day of the following month. Each teacher will be evaluated through a survey at the end of each semester and any raises will be based on the survey results, performance and availability.
Pay is enough to live in Itajubá and to save some for traveling.
A furnished studio (with cable and internet) will be provided for the time of the contract. The teacher will have a private bedroom and will share kitchen and bathroom.
The school is looking for a young (21 to 30) enthusiastic and energetic professional, with ESL (or similar) certificate who is willing to work hard (one year contract). Experience is not necessary.
The foreign English teacher is responsible for all advanced classes and advanced private students. The school will be using Touchstone 4 (Cambridge Press) for Advanced I classes and Contemporary Topics 3 (Longman Press) for Advanced II. In case there are more advanced students, handouts or Communicating in Business (Cambridge Press) will be used. There are some private students who will be talking prep course for TOEFL.
Itajuba is a university town located in Minas Gerais State, four hours from Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.

Our methodology involves more conversation than grammar and focus on teaching the students to pronounce it right and learn more vocabulary.
Most groups use the series Touchstones and private students use In Company.
