Teach Primary & Secondary School Students in Tropical North Sumatra!
Singapore International Academy (SIA) is looking for energetic, enthusiastic and diligent English teachers to work with our expanding school.
Working alongside other specialist subject teachers, you will provide a holistic English learning experience for Primary and lower-grade Secondary students.
The successful applicant will be a native speaker (UK, USA, Australia, NZ, Canada) and should hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in English, and a teaching certificate (TEFL, CELTA or equivalent). Previous teaching experience is a definite advantage but first-time teachers will be considered on merit.
The school offers a very competitive package, including a monthly salary, shared teaching housing or housing allowance, annual flight money, end-of-year bonus, basic health insurance and a monthly food and transportation allowance.
We are actively searching for teachers at Pre-School, Primary and Secondary level, with a target start date of June/July 2012.
About SIA:
The school is now in its 7th year and is rapidly expanding, incorporating Pre-School (playgroup to Kindergarten 2), Primary (Grades 1-6) and the new Secondary Grade 7 and 8 classes.
Over these 7 years, we have built a solid reputation for producing well-rounded, confident and independent students who are not only proficient in their studies but also possess the capability and desire to display their skills in the real world.
