The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations.

English Teachers (Vietnam)

British Council Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are recruiting for enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to join their teaching team in May 2012.

You will deliver high quality lessons on our full range of courses and will be looking to develop your experience in all areas with highly motivated groups of Vietnamese students.

As we are committed to continuing professional development, you will have the opportunity to participate in INSETTs, receive funding for the DELTA and gain intensive Young Learner training. There will also be opportunities for you to train as an IELTS examiner and get involved in ELT projects and other non-teaching work.

Degree and TEFL qualified (i.e. Cambridge CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL), you have at least two years post-certificate relevant teaching experience gained from a variety of age groups and levels. You are also proactive, experienced and interested in committing to further training.

If you are currently based outside of Vietnam, you will receive a relocation package including flights from the UK (or equivalent location) to post, baggage allowance, settling-in allowance, medical insurance and a competitive salary. The starting salary will depend on your qualifications and experience.
