LearnShip Networks GmbH is looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team with an immediate start.
LearnShip Networks GmbH is a leading language service provider which specializes in delivering online language courses to general and corporate consumers. Headquartered in Cologne, Germany, we thrive on helping our clientele reach their goals by improving their communication skills in their new language. We support a new way of teaching and learning languages through our virtual platform at http://www.learnship.de. Our learning platform connects students and teachers from all over the world by video-conference in an interactive online classroom.
Our freelance teachers are located everywhere worldwide and are able teach from the convenience of their own homes. In addition, we are currently positioning ourselves into the face-to-face instructional market, thus, broadening our product range.
The HR Intern will be responsible for recruiting teachers to join our team, negotiating teacher compensation rates, liaising with the Pedagogical, Project Management, and Support departments, and maintaining detailed and confidential records, under the direction of the Director of Studies and the Human Resources Manager.
Our ideal candidate:
- Nativeor native-fluentEnglish speaker
- Upper-intermediate or advanced fluency in German (B1+ or higher)
- Fluency in other European and/or Asian languages a plus
- Has a background in Human Resources, ideally a degree in Business, Human Resources, Sales, or Marketing
- Familiarity with German employment regulationsa plus
-Exudes professionalism and competence
-High-level of comfort with technology
-Energetic, highly-motivated and flexible
- A self-starter who is also comfortable with taking direction from management
-Friendly, outgoing personality
- Able and willing to commit a minimum of 6-12 months to the position
