The Institution:
With state-of the-art facilities and excellent support services, IAT offers Career-based Technical Education (CTE) in English at the secondary and tertiary levels. IAT offers a unique opportunity to prepare its graduates for their post-secondary future by participating in personalized work-integrated learning processes and programs that are driven by academic rigor and delivered using student-centered methods. The institute’s seven campuses are located in the United Arab Emirates at Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah; with its Directorate based in Abu Dhabi. In addition, IAT encompasses higher learning start-ups in aviation, health education and multiple high-tech disciplines.
The Applied Technology High School (ATHS) System at IAT is the first educational institution in the region outside the US, to achieve the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) District accreditation. SACS accreditation positions IAT among the world’s elite educational institutions and provides extensive opportunities for its graduates to access the world’s most prominent higher education institutes.
The IAT is seeking teachers for the following positions to teach UAE national students in a practical learner centered environment. The aim of the curriculum is to help students develop their skills and become scientifically literate citizens that are able to function effectively in an international work environment.
Math Teachers
Physics/Chemistry/Biology and Health Science Teachers
ICT Teachers
Minimum Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Teaching Diploma preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in a high school setting.
Salary and Benefits:
The IAT offers a competitive tax-free salary, housing allowance, air fare, relocation allowance (if deployed from overseas), medical insurance, gratuity and subsidized education for your children.
