ECC, celebrating our 50th anniversary has experienced steady growth and now has more than 150 campuses throughout Japan. ECC strives to promote a spirit of multiculturalism represented by a team of 15 different nationalities with over 650 native English speakers. ECC Foreign Language Institute is currently seeking applicants for full-time teaching positions in our various school locations throughout Japan. The positions will involve teaching English to adults and children, in a professional, rewarding and supportive environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Native English Speaker.
· Bachelor's Degree or above.
· Must be able to work for at least one year
ECC CONTRACT AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
For the individual seeking overseas employment, finding a reliable employer is paramount.
ECC, therefore, would like to reassure you that we offer the most progressive contract package among English conversation schools. We have a reputation for being a very supportive and reliable employer and many of our teachers have gravitated here from other schools. We offer a 29.5-hour workweek where other companies offer 35 to 40 hours for the same salary, we offer two to four weeks more vacation than our competitors and the support we offer is comprehensive. We are sure that you, like our current teaching team, will find your time with ECC a satisfying and rewarding experience.
* Salary: 252,000 yen per/mo.
* 7 weeks paid vacation per/yr.
* 29.5 hrs. per/wk. inclusive; 5-day work week
TO APPLY:
ENGLAND:
ECC, along with our representatives, A.I.L. International, will be holding recruitment seminars in LONDON in late February 2012, for positions starting May 2012 and onwards.
Sessions will include an orientation, teaching demonstration, grammar test and interview.
NORTH AMERICA
TORONTO: interviews held WEEKLY for positions starting May 2012 and onwards. (A face-to-face interview, teaching demo and grammar test will be required in Toronto.)
Toronto will be the only interview location in North America for the next few months. Americans able/willing to interview in Toronto at their own expense are welcome to apply through the Toronto office as our LA office is currently not accepting applications.
