Apollo IH Hanoi is presently recruiting Senior teachers for for Adult and YL Programmes to start immediately in February 2012.

Salary: 1800 USD – 2000 USD per month (before tax), depending on qualifications, experience and hours worked – salary and benefits paid in Vietnamese Dong, tax is payable on a sliding scale, most teachers pay 10-15%
• Medical insurance allowance: up to 550 USD per year
• Performance Bonus: up to 1200 USD paid at the completion of a 1-year contract
• Business visas arranged by Apollo for the duration of the contract
• Work permit covered by Apollo

Responsibilities
- Average of 15 hours teaching per week including workshops
- Syllabus maintenance and materials innovation on designated Adult/YL Programmes
- Workshop delivery
- Adult/YL classes teacher observation
- Support for teachers on lesson planning, class management and administration issues
- Liaising with Customer Service Officers (CSOs), Teaching Assistants (TAs) and parents as issues arise
- Briefings for teachers on new courses
- Supporting Adult/YL Marketing activities and briefing teachers
- Cover teaching/stand-by
- Support for partnership and corporate teaching
- Other duties as allocated by Academic Manager / Academic Coordinator

Essential requirements for all teaching positions
• Native English speaker
• BA or MA (NB this is essential for Work Permit requirements)
• CELTA/Trinity TESOL or equivalent
• DELTA/Trinity Diploma desirable
• At least three years full time or equivalent part time teaching EFL
• Proven people and business management experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and
organizational skills
• Flexibility and cultural awareness
• Training and mentoring experience
