GERMANY: Native English-Speaking Child Care Professionals for Bilingual Program


Be a part of the Halle/Saale’s first public bilingual English/German nursery and pre-school. We are looking for motivated, dedicated and flexible new staff members who are secure with the concepts of self-directed learning, emergent curriculum planning, and open house to work with our children between the ages of 0 and 6.

Located near the city center, our facility is open on weekdays from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Early childhood educators spend 34 hours a week with the children.

The center is owned and operated by the municipal enterprise for day care (Eigenbetrieb Kindertagesstätten) in Halle/Saale Germany, the city’s largest provider of day care for children between the ages of 0 and 14, servicing the community together with over 560 qualified staff members at 50 separate locations.

We are looking to fill the open position of a native English-speaking nursery and pre-school teacher starting as soon as possible.

Requirements:
You…
• are a native English-speaker with excellent communication skills.
• have a degree/certificate in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent)
• have experience working directly with children between the ages of 0 and 6 in a child care, day care, nursery, or preschool setting.
